- How was this week? Harder or easier than we thought?
- Who made it all the way?

- What did God say for Moses to call Him?
- What does “I AM WHO I AM” mean?
- God's personal name is Yahweh, which means "I Am Who I Am." This name was so sacred to Jews that they were always very careful when saying or writing it so that it could never be misused. Often, they used the name Adonai as a substitute. In English, we use the word Jehovah.
::READ:: Exodus 20:7
- What does "misuse" God's name mean?
- Are “gosh”, “jeez”, “goll”, etc part of misusing His name? What about OMG?
- How do you think Jesus and God feel when they hear their name so casually?
- Why do you think this commandment is included in the 10?
- Do you think He ever gets tired of hearing His name?
- Don’t you think it would be silly if we said “Obama” every time we were mad, hurt, frustrated, excited, etc? It would be disrespectful, right?
- So why would we not think it is disrespectful to refer to God…king of all kings with such casual way?
- How would you feel if every time someone got mad, hurt, frustrated, etc...they said "Oh Carla" (or your name)...or they changed it to "Oh Car"?
- Does it bother you when you hear someone misuse God’s name?
- When is it okay to use the Lord's name?
::CHALLENGE:: Let’s make a word that you can say in replace of “God” and all of the words. Let’s say that word, all this week.
